Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
The service
BuzStars provides two services to local businesses, offered together or separately: (1) website design, building, hosting and ongoing maintenance, and (2) managed Google review requests and reputation monitoring, including SMS and email review requests, follow-ups, a QR/NFC review stand, and review monitoring and reporting.
These terms are between you and BuzStars, a business operated by an individual sole proprietor in Michigan, United States ("BuzStars", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@buzstars.com.
Free website preview
A website preview and online growth report requested through our website are provided free and without obligation. Previews are concepts only; they are not a finished website and do not create a service agreement.
Plans and pricing
Website + Reviews is $397/month and includes a $0 website build; you pay only the monthly service fee. Website only is $297/month. Reviews only is $149/month for up to 100 customer review campaigns per month; one customer entering the system counts as one campaign, including the initial messages and any follow-ups. Higher-volume businesses may receive custom pricing. Multi-location pricing is available based on the number of locations. If you consistently exceed the included monthly review campaign limit, we will contact you to discuss higher-volume pricing.
Billing, month-to-month service and cancellation
Services are month-to-month, with no long-term contract or minimum commitment. Billing is monthly in advance, and your first charge is on the date you sign up. Monthly subscriptions renew on the same calendar day as the original signup date when that date exists in the renewal month. If the renewal month does not contain that date, billing occurs on the last day of that month.
You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@buzstars.com. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your next renewal date. Your service continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not give prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
Website ownership
Your website belongs to your business. When you cancel, you may receive your website files so you can host the site elsewhere. We keep website and project files for up to 30 days after your service ends so they can be transferred, as described in our Privacy Policy. Third-party items such as licensed fonts, stock images, plugins or hosting-specific tools may be subject to their own licenses and may not transfer. We recommend your domain is registered in your business's name; a domain registered by you remains yours.
Hosting and maintenance
While your service is active we host your website and provide ordinary website maintenance, including technical updates and reasonable routine content updates you request. Significant redesigns, new pages, major new functionality, or integrations outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote, and we will get your approval before any additional charge. We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, images and content you provide, for having the rights to use it, and for any licenses, certifications or claims shown on your website. You are responsible for the accuracy of the customer information you provide, for having the right to share it with us, and for compliance with applicable messaging and privacy laws. You agree to review and approve website content, message templates and outreach lists before they go live.
Review integrity
We request honest reviews from real customers. We do not create, purchase, incentivize, filter or suppress reviews, and we will not configure any system that prevents a customer from leaving a public review or routes unhappy customers away from Google. Requests to do so will be declined and may result in termination of service.
No guaranteed results
We do not guarantee any specific number of reviews, star rating, search ranking, lead or call volume, revenue or other business outcome. Results depend on your customer volume, your service quality and factors outside our control, including third-party platform policies.
Third-party platforms
Our services depend on third-party platforms including Google, hosting providers, domain registrars, messaging carriers, email providers and CRM or booking systems. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers and are not responsible for their availability, policies or changes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
Changes
Paid services are governed by the invoice, order form or service agreement you have accepted for them, together with these terms. We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with an updated date.
